Connect: UBC’s New Learning Management System

UBC’s community-wide Name the New LMS Contest has wrapped up after receiving more than 600 submissions. We’re pleased to announce that the New LMS has been named Connect. This new name reflects the integral role the new Learning Management System will play in creating a platform for collaboration and learning beyond the classroom.

We would like to thank all those who participated in the naming contest. Please stay tuned for more information and updates on Connect over the coming months.

Known Issues, Gotchas and Workarounds List is Now Available

We’ve just released the initial version of UBC’s Known Issues, Gotchas and Workarounds for the new LMS. This dynamic list is a work in progress and will be updated frequently, so take a look and see if there is a resolution to an issue you’ve encountered.
